They're supposed to be to the side and back some, not directly behind you, in a 5.1 setup.

They are sort of behind me as best as possible. One is rather off to the left... the other is diagonal behind me to the right. Does it really matter? Think before you post.

For my 4.1's the rears are behind and to the side. Only issue is my home office is really small so they are less than 3 feet behind me.
