OK I am building an HTPC (for now going in a regular case, but its a matx board, my matx case is scheduled to arrive in about 2 weeks) anyways i have a voodoo 3 3000 for the video out put (its agp 2x with tv out old skool i know) anyways Tv out on my TV looks like crap, my tv is good, my dvd player looks good why do computer tv out on my tv look sooo bad? its flickers and is like unsteady a little. BTW i'm using component dont have svideo in on my tv.

Well, your probably using composite(rca) not component, which is the poorest TV-out connection. The TV output of the V3 is pretty poor anyway, and even the best cards analog TV-output using s-video is only OK since its only 480i. Thats the main reason. Quality analog TV output has never been a primary concern for graphic card manufacturers on top of that, although some do it better than others. The AIW 9700pro in your sig should be better than the V3 card using TV-out.
