For those of you with HiDef material, how much do you have?

None at the moment...I have an HDTV tuner but no hard drive space to record anything...

Not to mention that I only get three channels in HD here anyway. It'll be better over the summer when I move back to San Antonio though.

Only 4 (you have failed me, Goosemaster!), but once my MDP-130 gets here in the mail, there will be a lot more! :D

only CSI and some 1080p clips that i can't play properly atm :|

and the CSI is torrent stuff so while it's loads better than regular tv, it's just compressed HD :p

maybe a couple of Gb i guess...i have less than 900mb free on my C drive and i've lost the jumper for it so i can't run my other 20gb drive atm, unless i rig up a ghetto jumper with some wire ;)

None. No hard drive space for it either. I'm trying to sell my PS2 so I can get some upgrades for my computer, and storage is one of the main upgrades.

1080p won't run on my 2.2Ghz Axp, 1gb ram, and a loaned gf4mx, but it will play (just, but smoothly-like 95% CPU usage) with my 9800 pro in the rig ;)

I've got a 9800 Pro but I've never tried running HD on it.

Specs:
P4 2.8 Prescott
1.5 gigs RAM
128mb 9800 Pro

Would I be alright?

About 500GB backed up onto DVDs. Another couple hundred GBs on the HD. And now I've discovered the wonders of H.264. If I had known of this wonderous codec earlier, I could have my entire collection use half the space.

What are you guys using to play the content? My X-Box Media player plays it fine. A bit sluggish. Surprising since it's a P3 733 Mhz (?). Not sure what I am supposed to use in Windows.

Got just over 100 gigs worth and most of it being Band of Brothers.

And yes Goosemaster, with that much drive space being taken up you have to have full movies, not just the slips you give us ;)
