And you would be incorrect.
The stuff is expensive, and adds to the cost of the phone. But it works much better than most anything else. Since it works so well its also a major selling point.
If the phone has it they will make sure you know about it. It will be somewhere on the box or up front in the manual.

Ok, let's go through the major Android phones out there:

- Evo
- G2
- Nexus One
- Droid 1/2/X
- Galaxy S series

The WP7 phones have some sort of variant too and we know the iPhone does.

All have Gorilla glass or some sort of variant. I'm saying practically every phone out there has it. Maybe the LG enV Touch doesn't but that's trash anyway. Then again most other dumbphones use resistive screens, so you can't have gorilla glass anyway.

HTC doesn't really market their phones with gorilla glass, especially the N1, but we have videos of people putting knives to their screens. I'm pretty sure there are variants out there.

I am inclined to agree. Also, I am about 99% sure that my Surround has an oleophobic screen, but it isn't advertised as such. It gets fewer smudges than the iPhone 1, and what it does pick up, wipe off easier.

Manufacturers don't really advertise gorilla glass. It's funny to show my friends how durable these screens are because they're under the impression that the screens are easily scratched.
