doesn't look any worse than when cro-cop got KTFO'd by gonzaga.. his whole leg went over itself, but because he was knocked out, he was ok.

edit: wait, did his whole foot come off? daaaaaaaaaaamn :Q

He shattered his shin and dislocated his ankle through the skin.

The game was stopped for 7 minutes for treatment and to wash the blood off the field.

Looks like that vid from years back of the tennis player who did the same thing. It's awful to watch.

Video purged from youtube now but the pic is pretty nasty.

You mean someone was rolling around the ground in agony and they actually had an injury? Wow. I don't think I've ever seen that before in soccer.

Saw it plenty of times when I played.

Oh damn, that is rough. Would have loved to see the video. Can't imagine that it was intentional on the part of #4, so why the red card?

The video has been removed from Youtube and everywhere else mainstream at Arsenal's request. I was watching Sky Sports last night and they played the video and froze it at the moment of contact. It shows clearly that Martin was going in studs up and that the force of impact was going to be severe.

Without seeing the actual injury, I knew it would be a horrific one from the look of abject horror on Fabregas' face when he looked down at Eduardo's ankle.

I hope this is not a career ender...
