..true. It's still loaded with problems. Why throw the dice for the sensation of sweet? Many foods have a natural sweetness. Don't be conned by an industry that's trying to sell white powder under the guise of sugar subsitute.

How can that be cancer-causing? It's almost chemically identical to sucrose.

If there is a problem with HFCS, it's that it's so cheap and readily available that it's in almost everything, and ingesting too much sugars is bad for you (can cause obesity, lead to diabetes, etc.). You can get away with ingesting large quantities of sugars (although it's still not a good idea) if you exercise regularly, but most people nowadays are incredibly sendentary.

Of course not. No company would ever create a product that kills those that use it. And if a company did, I'm sure a warning would be put on the package and no one would use it.
