For those of you who have boughten Sapphire 9800 SE Atlantis cards...what speed memory have you gotten?
I have only gotten 3.3ns hynix memory, and all other reports are of 3.3ns hynix memory as well.
Some guy I was talking to says he has Samsung 2.8ns memory on the card.
I said he was full of it. Why would Sapphire put 2.8ns memory on a mid-range card that only runs at 290mhz memory speed?
Has anyone gotten 2.8ns memory on their Sapphire SE cards?

Most people get 3.3 hynix with their Sapphire 9800SEs. ITs not impossible that Sapphire puts some 2.8 on em, just like every company puts variable chips and ratings on every single product.

Thats why you should have gotten a powercolor w/ 2.8 ns, higher % of succesfful softmods, and automatic clock to 9800 pro.

Have you not seen my other video posts about SEs?
I know exactly which card to get and where to get it if I wanted to use them for my personal system. I had bought several a short while back to play with them, and those that softmodded to 8 pipes I sold as cards that would softmod as 9800s, and the other one I got that didn't softmod I sold as an SE, on eBay. I was just curious as to whether anyone has gotten a 2.8ns card. Maybe this is just a recent thing, where Sapphire is just slapping more real 9800 GPUs onto a board and giving it 2.8ns ram just to clear out the core as an SE. I was looking around, and Allstarshop has two of these Atlantis cards. One is for $130, the other is for $142. They're both the black PCB Atlantis 256bit model. What's up with that? Do you think perhaps these slightly more expensive ones are the ones coming with 2.8ns memory?

*Edit*
Is there a difference between the black and red PCB?
Thanks.

Yes, didn't check your link but Black PCB = Radeon 9700 PCB w/ a 3 pin molex instead of 4 pin. Around 5% performance loss compared to normal ones.
