Since the OP didn't put up any argument, I will:

If you can accept the possibility that a supreme being has always existed and created the universe/life/etc, why can't you accept the possibility that the universe/life/etc has always existed, independant of some supreme being who created it.

Basically: if you are comfortable not knowing the answer to "Where did God come from?", why do you insist that athiests answer the question "Where did the universe/life come from?"
