If anyone is looking for a flag and having a hard time finding one, I found this place online.

God bless America. My boyfriend is in the Army (specializes in Patriot missiles) and promises to keep us safe. :)

Thanks for the tip HK! I know lots of people are looking for flags, and most places on line are sold out.

Didn't know you frequented the Hot Deals section...?

Nice selection. Too bad Afghanistan will be a big glass parking lot before the order arrives.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, they require a $30 minimum order... got room for 1 or 2 flags, not sure what to do with 3... ;)

HK, your first hot deal? :)
Actually my roommate has been searching for an American flag everywhere but 3-4 weeks is quite a wait.
We'll keep checking Wal-Mart and other stores around us. Thanks anyways.

You can be patriotic without any pants on for all I care, that's your prerogative. :D
I think everyone would agree that a peaceful resolution would absolutely be the best outcome.

How realistic is a peaceful solution given the current situation? Highly unlikely.

If war is the only way for this nation to bring to justice those responsible, then I say:
"Give 'em hell, US of A."

And more importantly, "Finish what we start."

Keeping in mind of course, that your bf would be immediately involved, and that's no small thing. But neither is what happened to thousands of civilians last week. At least your bf is a soldier, trained for that purpose.

That is what the media is brainwashing everyone into believing, that war is the only solution. How can you even say that without know who or what happened. I feel horrible for the people that died and their families, but the media blitz on WAR is the most absurd thing ever. Unfortunately, it is quite easy to manipulate all of the emotion that this horrible event has caused. But still, take a step back and realize that war is not the only answer...

So, after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, you think we should step back and realize that war is not the only answer?

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you. War, or some sort of retaliation, is the only answer. Without it, these horrendous acts will be repeated over and over... some sort of detriment must be established.

Hey, you are entitled to your opinion. I just want you to realize that television, newspapers and all sorts of media out there are preaching war since the get go. But if we just start killing people at random, does that really make us any different than them? Not to mention that this blood lust that has taken over the country is going to cost American lives too. I have heard too many people making very rash comments about bombing the hell out of the middle east...et cetera.

HK - isn't war when the enemy is able to fight back? :p

It sucks that it will come to this, but hey, they started it...time for us to end it.

Rock - nah - IMO, we should be using snipers on known terrorists anyways...they're a thorn in the side of humanity. Even IF by some chance of fate, Bin Laden isn't responsible for THIS attack, he IS responsible for others, and WILL BE for yet others...put a bullet in his (and all his friend's) heads, and part of the problem goes away.

But then again, what do I know....I'm more a believer in an eye-for-an-eye than most...murder someone, you deserve to die <shrug>

Jingoro: Completely different situation. Pearl Harbor was Japanese military attacking a U.S. Military base, this is a small group of terrorists attacking a large group of civilians.

Nice, but.............

How about someplace where we can download a nice variety of flags so we can print on assorted things like transfers for shirts.

I've been lurking here for a while but this was the first time I felt I could contribute something. Here's a Link for you for an assortment of different sized printable flags.

"working as fast as possible to serve fellow Americans at this time of grief.
Orders placed on 9/15 or earlier will ship within 2 to 3 weeks of the order date.
Orders placed on 9/17 or later will be shipped within 6 to 8 weeks of the order date. Delivery times should
decrease as we increase our staff and catch up to the flood of orders. We still have a large
supply of 3? x 5? high quality flags and flags sets. We also are well stocked on larger U.S. flags.
Small hand-held flags are running low. All state flags and other country flags are in good supply.
Thank you for your patience. Our prayers go to the victims, family and friends. Thomas J. D?Amico - President"

6 to 8 weeks now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how well stocked they are but your local American Legion is a good place to buy a flag. They generally don't qualify as Hot Deals, but they're made in America and the money goes to a good cause. I think ours was ~$25.00 for a 4x6. Just a thought I hadn't seen mentioned in any of the flag threads.
