As little as possible. I have only mowed twice in 3 years.

The wife mowed about once a week. :)

In the spring it is around 2 to 3 times per week. In the summer, probably once ever 7 to 10 days, and back to 1 or 2 times per week in the fall.

Back when we had a lawn to mow, we mowed it when one of of them officious notices showed up on our front door.

Whenever it looks like it's getting too long, or the day after the neighbors mow theirs.

I do it once a week and find it quite enjoyable. Green grass is fun to cut.

i notice this happens a lot...if i 'do' something to my yard, i usually see my neighbors get busy with theirs.

for those that voted 3 times a week...get a life :)

every 2 weeks for me...4 acres is headache and fun at the same time.

About once a week. If it grows faster or slower depending on rain/sun conditions I'll mow it more or less frequently.

Every two weeks, three if I'm lucky and it doesn't grow fast. BTW the only reason I'm mowing it are regulations, otherwise I wouldn't have mowed it at all. I like tall grass better, not this cut down 2" crap...

I really want to do the "Prairie Lawn" thing but I end up having to cut it once a week on average. Having a lawn tractor makes it pretty easy though.

bout every 10 - 14 days during spring/summer, can usually go 2+weeks once it hits fall, and can't wait for the first snowfall by that point:)

I don't like tall grass but I do agree that "MOST" people have no clue about cutting height. One of my neighbors puts the mowers deck to the floor! I told him numerous times that he's doing his lawn harm by cutting that low but he does'nt listen.

Most lawns (minus anything to do with golfing) do good at 3". Cutting at 2.5" or below is just not wise, no matter what type of grass.
