For Those Looking for a New Mid Range Gaming Build

Okay so there are about 20 threads lately (I admit I started one while back) that pretty much end up with the same or very similar builds so I though I would just post one for people to reference.

This build.

The most common substitutions would be:

GPU to ATI 6950
HDD to an SSD or Samsung Spinpoint
Memory to something cheeper perhaps in 1333

Of course anything else could be changed but the idea is to give people a general idea of what to look for and a ballpark price to target. This probably will become nothing more than another thread lost in the mix but I hope this helps guide people and limit the same requests over and over.

You can get the antec 300 with all the case fans for cheaper after a promo code and then you don't have to buy case fans.

Oh, the things I'd change about that wish list! The first thing I'd change is allowing combo items in a NewEgg wish list.

Then I'd add:

The optical drive is good. I guess I won't complain too loudly that there are cheaper motherboards.

You pretty much hit on the three things I would change right there! The general idea is good though!
