Calculate The Running Cost Of Any Appliance

Never wonder again why your power bill seems so high. Just enter the cost per kilowatt hour from your utility bill and plug in virtually any appliance (3W to 1800W). The LCD display will show instantaneous power consumption, maximum load power, and how much money it will cost to operate the appliance by the day, month and year. What you find out may surprise you.

You actually want us to compute the cost? What are you trying to do, drive all the DC'ers away?😛

I said those interested, I am firmly in denial 😉 😀

I know what it costs me; since I don't smoke, do drugs, or drink very often, I've got plenty of extra cash for my DC habit. 😉

Power for your PC is just like petrol for your car! You like driving your car but paying for the petrol is just one of those things you gotta do! 😛😀

True 🙂

By far the cheapest and in my opinion the best way to do this is to go to the Power Co. and borrow a portable wattmeter. it is just a meter like on the outside of your house with a socket and a plug on it. You just plug the appliance into it for 24 hours and the chart that they will give you with it will tell you how much it cost to run the appliance for a day. You can check all your stuff, deepfreezes take a bunch.
