For those running D²OL and Windows XP:
Turn off Error Reporting, if gridwin.exe encounters a fault and Error Reporting is turned on D²OL comes to a standstill ( usually on your fastest PC right after you've gone to bed and you lose a whole nights crunching :| ). However if Error Reporting is off then everything carries on as normal.
PS , could this thread be renamed to D2OL FAQ or something so it's easier to find ?

A few days ago, I installed the client. And it's taking 86 MB memory and 175 MB !!!!!! virtual memory. Is this the normal behavior?
It's not a problem, because I have 512 MB, but I'm just curious.

I think 85-100 is average for ram consumption. They hope to shave it down one day but it is a resource consumer for sure.

On my Win2K Pro box with 512 Mb, DockWin.exe is taking 102Mb and jawaw.exe is taking 14Mb. The newest version of the client have a pretty big footstep. This is something that everyone involved in the project has complained about and (hopefully) Sengent will do something about!
