Try being a Freshman when I was in 1994 (YIKES I feel old). There was zero internet and the "next big thing" was the introduction of the Pentium computer. Grr....you bastards have it so good now.
 
TV Tuner keeps me sane (roommates don't seem to watch TV). I spent 2 weeks without my computer though... I nearly lost my mind...
 
I had TV tuner cards to get me through freshman and sophomore years. At this point I have a 27in TV, a TiVo and a TV tuner card in my bedroom and a 38" widescreen HDTV in the living room. I get my fill of TV.
