We met in grad school. Were best friends for about a year and then started dating.

Three years after meeting, she's Mrs. Specialed.

We hung out often and started flirting casually via text messages. I ended up breaking up with my ex and I was with the new gf a couple weeks later. :D

Does she call you Little Dave too? :p

We were childhood friends through our parents for like 15 years. Didnt see her for like 7 years, and she was a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding. We hit it off at the reception, and have been dating for about 2 months now.

He was the new guy at work (I'm female). We were both working late, different dept's, and we both left at the same time - so I said, I'm getting something to eat, wanna join me? Turned out he had a wacko sense of humor and we shared several interests - started dating, married a year later.

You should add another Poll asking how many of you SO who played the "game" stayed together and got married and stay together for more than 3 years. That is also an interesting discussion.

Ask the same with the friends things as well.

the "game" ?

Nevermind. Walking up and asking a person out is great too actually. I didn't fully read the Poll.

The ones that are stupid are the ones who play "games" when it comes to relationships.

**EDIT**
The same people who play "games" when it comes to relationships, are the same type that view pursuing a girl as a competition with other guys, and the girl somehow is a trophy. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I talk to guys like that, but then I just realize that they are insecure and a little immature and they need time to grow up.

I share the same opinion as you about disliking guys who view women as the "trophy" it can't be healthy to do so. I'll date a girl I can laugh with and get along with not one that I feel like I "won" for whatever reason...

oh and BUMP

Met Nicki at a local restaurant. I'm usually a very shy person with women but when I saw her with her ecentric glasses and face buried in a novel, I had to meet her. I quickly b-lined it for the booth she was sitting at (Alone) and promptly introduced myself. We talked all night and have been pretty much inseperable for over a year now.

Other. We were reintroduced by a mutual friend. We went to the same HS and knew each other but never really hung out together in HS.

Yahoo Personals.

Still together after 7 years. We're very much in love.
