1) 2000 Porsche Boxster

4) Infiniti g35 (but its not a convertable!)

Any others? I didn't add the new nissan z cause Nissan is not as highly respected (resale value?).

Trying to make up for something? 😉

Well, you might as well not get the Infiniti, since Nissan owns infiniti - so it's JUST a nissan

..dude, such easy joke, seriously I want opinons here, (if this was a gay forum, we would exchange pen1s sizes)

I'm buying a new[or almost new] car, and I don't have a family or any practicle requirments other that I might as well get a cool car and a I CAN afford it. Any ideas?

rbloedow We ALL know Nissan owns infiniti, we all know why Nissan doesn't mean quality to most people, so why fight it?

AS you can tell, you don't have a girlfriend either - probably never have. Hope you have fun meeting women who like you for your car

First of all, girls are not impressed by 30k. Any joe shmoe with bad credit can lease a 30k car.

That said, for your driving pleasure, I will choose boxster or s2k.

*sigh* wasted time 'defending' myself to ask what the sexiest car is....

rbloedow Yes I have had girlfriends, right now i am dating. Who cares. I'm sure you have a supermodel right by you side right now.

If you think you're going to be using your car to pick up women, why haven't you listed any models with a spacious backseat? 😕

ups

Huh?

I don't know why. Can you tell me?

..sorry if I am confusing people, I really the whole girl thing was meant more as a joke than anything, sorry if its distracting to those with a lot of free time...

What is the coolest car basicly? (with a good brand name for resale value)

Out of what you chose, G35.

If I had about 30k to spend on a car, I would be driving a brand new blue WRX STi with silver rims, hands down, no questions asked, kthxbye. 🙂

...why not I think Nissan? ...Just because its not up there in with Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, no other reason... but if you guys think the Z is the coolest, then I stand corrected!

Please I do have an active social life (and i don't have mulit thousand posts) and I know the ins and outs of dating girls, no lectures please, this is not a YAGT!

back to the subject

So you I take it you guys would swing for the G35 or the Nissan Z?

Somebody who can actually afford a 30K car goes to the dealer, test drives each one and decides which one he likes best.

Somebody who is going to get a 7 year loan and eat ramen noodles for the next 7 years goes onto an internet forum and asks what kind of car he should buy.

I resemble that remark. 😛

At least, I will... when I buy an STi.. 😀

I would defend myself, but that was really funny! "p0wn3d"

id buy a pathfinder, but i do need 4wheel drive. And if your gonna buy a porche or bmw i wouldnt buy a 30,000 dollar one, thats like buying a v6 mustang:disgust:. Buy a top of line cheaper car, i think that shows more class. Plus it doesnt cost you your soul to keep it up. I like the idea of the guy who recomended the wrx, those things are sick.

Heh, the people replying with bitter remarks seem to be the ones compensating for something. 😛

Implying that being vain is bad is implying that getting laid by dumb bimbos is bad which implies that you're a sucka and believe in all of that fairy tale lovey dovey garbage. Or at least, that's the impression I get.

Not that I'm the type to try to woo bimbos with a car, it's just that I find it lame to put it down.

Why so excited about the STI?....Its so...well, unrefined....even the evo vIII is a much more passionate driving machine. But I'm a bit odd when it comes to car decisions. On one hand, I'm a big fan of unrefined twin-turboed vipers and lingenfelter vettes, and yet I also like s2ks and other ultra-lightweight cars...(dare I say the Mini..🙂...so I'm probably a real bad critic of automobiles.

I'm not really sure what excites me so much about it, but excite me it does! 🙂 I will own one...

I think it's a combination of the engine(I love H4s), power, and manufacturer.. "underdog" Subaru.

Why do you consider the Evo more "passionate"? What exactly do you mean by that? Aren't they quite similar?

Well, I suppose that's silly.. while they may be quite similar in specs, I'm sure each car has a distinct personality.

What planet do you live on where people look down on NIssans (expecially the Z)?
