The M-B Unimog only produces 80bhp!! Damn its underpowered!

Although it probably has over 200lb/ft of torque.

I got to laugh about that. Reminds me of that nut in Cali who stole a tank from the National Guard and went for a joyride....crushing cars, trying to knock down overpasses, etc.......

The M-18 was one of the fastest (if not the fastest) tracked vehicles of World War II. In fact it could probably keep up with a modern battle group. Imagine having that sucker on a commute.

Windogg,

Get the tank and park it on top of her car and say oops! Was that important?

;) Nice yakko.

That'd be fun to drive down the highway. Imagine the sound system you could put in that thing (and not piss off the other commuters because of the bass).

Though I suppose the fact that you're driving a tank would be enough to piss most people off if not simply scare them.

Yea, I wonder if the 76mm cannon can be made functional on that bad boy.

If you look further down, they say there is also a M-36 available. The Jackson has a even bigger 90mm cannon.

Windogg, I noticed that you appear to know quite a bit about W.W.II weapons. In your opinion, what was the best tank of WWII (out of these three)?
1. Tiger (Germany)
2. M4 Sherman (USA)
3. T-34 (USSR)

Even though the Tigers and Shermans are the best known, the Russian T-34s were able to hold their own against Panthers and Tigers, whereas the Shermans usually had to fight a high casualty war of attrition to take out the German heavies.
Early model Shermans were nicknamed "Zippos" and "Tommycookers" for good reason :(
