i'm going to go to scsi drives in my pc, i have an adaptec 39160 controller and have a chance to get a 73gig 10k U160 IBM UltraStar drive....... My question is, are there any issues with the ibm drives? are any better than the others, ie: IBM, Maxtor, Seagate, etc....... i'm new to scsi and just don't want to put out good money for something i won't be happy with..... thanks in advance for any help

IBM is fine. That controller will also work well. Don't forget to purchase a LVD cable with terminator.
