Too bad for the same amount it's probably more fun to go to a racing school.

Setup should be over $3000 without the TV. :( But hey it supports GPL... even though it's 8 years old. :D

It seems kinda pointless to show the driver's arms and steering wheel on the screen...I mean, your arms are right in FRONT of you. Assuming the controls are working right, there's no reason not to save the screen space and display what's in FRONT of the car.
Also...F1 racers have clutch pedals and H-pattern gearboxes?;)

The point is to simulate what the driver sees. F1 cars in 1967 definitely had clutch pedals and H gates. :p ;)

I still think my point about the steering wheel stands. He needs to change the camera options.

In the cockpit as opposed to outside always helps me keep perspective, otherwise I get confused about where my boundaries are and bump into things ore easily... that's just me... maybe if they showed you the hood and front wheels or something....

That's freakin sweet. Also, that kid knows how to drive, you see all the heel-toeing? If I had a burning urge to spend 3G's I would get this. You think they support Mac? :p
