I think it depends on how long your hair is. If your hair is short or "normal" male length, I don't think you need conditioner (unless yer hair is really dry and damaged). On the other hand, if you have long hair (mine is down between my shoulder blades) then you should definetly use a seperate conditioner.

BTW, I find your thread title sexist, chix aren't the only ones w/long hair

I was listening to morning radio one day and the hosts were asking people to call in and pose interesting, debateable questions. So one caller calls in and asks, "Which would you rather have? A bald head, or a head full of pubic hair?" One of the hosts said, "Hmm.. that's interesting. My hair would be all twisty and funky... I'd kinda like it."

I thought it was hilarious... haha...

Use conditioner if your hair is really dry and tangled.
I've noticed though, that when I change shampoo from time to time, my hair feels cleaner.

Could hairdirt become imune to shampoo after a while? :Q

No matter how good you rinse, every shampoo still leaves a slight residue that builds up over time. And when you use a different shampoo it removes the residue left by the "old" shampoo. This is why you should have 2 or 3 shampoos that you cycle thru.

Yes, I think you should use conditioner. I guess you wouldn't have to all the time, but once in a while would be a good idea.

I'm really picky about shampoos too so I buy good stuff..hey, it's extra points when I have a girl staying the night.
