Pretty good price, I picked up a Daewoo VCR from Target a few weeks backs for $39, this is much better. Isn't Sylvania a Costco brand?

What kind of kids are these. Mine each had their own PC's, each with DVD drives by the time their 7 and 8 years old. I can't remember the last time they played a VHS.

This might be a hot deal, but just remember that this is the kind of thing that people are trying to get rid of. Used VCRs are as easy to find as a KFC on MLK. Be it at garage sales, flea markets or craigslist.

But thanks anyway JS. You da' Bizzomb!

Sylvania VCRs are manufactured by Funai who also manufactures stuff under Emerson and Symphonic brand.

That's all fine and good there, ass, but I'm certain not everyone on this forum has the money or the room to build their 7-year olds a computer. Putting other people down for that is rediculous. The bold quotation makes me dislike you a great deal. Elitist POS.

I'm currently building a computer for my 5-year old out of spare parts, but even so we have lots of his videos on VHS and he doesn't care what format his movies are in as long as he gets to watch them. Good deal imo.

BS to you - all of mine were originally built from spares, cast offs from work, and free after rebate parts. Now each of my kids know how upgrade their own machines and buy their parts with money that they earn doing extra chores and oddjobs for neighbors. Stick your elitist comment up yours. The last VCR I bought was 3 years ago, a stereo RCA for $49.

Yup...looks dead.

BTW, this would have made a good gift to some 70-80 year olds, they don't care if it is mono, since they just need it to be LOUD.
