I watched the news coverage of Sarah Palin as the VP moninee. Noticed something in all the clips of her. She is married but is not wearing a wedding ring!

Obviously there is a story here. One of them is cheating in the marriage. They are swingers. One of them is gay. No ring must mean there is some scandal in this marriage or a juicy headline somewhere.

I want to start a national story. Who's with me?? Let's go come on...ahhhhhhRally

Interesting if it can be confirmed. It's only interesting to the extent it's another example of the hypocrisy of the social right.

Nick, how does calling someone out in a thread not constitute trolling?

You deserve to be laughed and scorned at like all those people who thought Obama wasn't patriotic because he didn't wear a flag lapel-pin.

If what can be confirmed? The fact that she wasn't wearing a wedding ring? Or the fact that not wearing a wedding ring proves she's a swinger or a cheater?

If you feel this is a troll thread it makes sense to complain to a mod, or make fun of the thread. But to call out jpeyton for no reason seems a little odd.

THe fact that she wasn't wearing a ring. I saw it, but I didn't look that closely.

he just wanted to be sure jpey sees this... he's sure to be interested... seems altruistic to me...

and i've been married for 27 years and don't wear a wedding ring...i don't wear any other jewelrey or a watch either... i can't stand any stuff clunking around on my hands and wrists... the way i look at it if you need a ring to remind you you're married you've pretty much missed the boat anyways...

a little late for ye dems to start getting on the fidelity symbol wagon...

It's never too late for dems, or anyone else, to point out hypocrisy.

What hypocrisy? How is not wearing a wedding ring hypocritical? Are you being serious about this?

It would be hypocritical for the lapel-pin fanatics not to care about this lack of symbolic propriety. Personally, I don't think people should be criticized for wearing little pictures on their outfits or for not wearing a weddin ring.

and symbolism is a big deal right now... it's the driving force behind everything the conventions and candidates do...

and with some of the posts lately in p&n to believe that u were funnin' isn't a slam dunk anymore...

i think it's an interesting subject, meself... how you display is a component of how you are... especially if u r selling yourself...

I got it, that's why I asked Infohawk if he was being serious about this. You're right, anyone who makes an issue of this are just as stupid as the Obama lapel pin people.

You misunderstood. Apparently "Personally, I don't think people should be criticized for wearing little pictures on their outfits or for not wearing a weddin ring." wasn't clear enough for you.

You missed the boat on this one.
The issue wasn't Obama not wearing a lapel flag. What people had problem with was his long drawn out and lame explanation of WHY he didn't wear one.
It was like on Seinfield when Krammer refused to wear the Aids ribbon while at the Aids walk
