and I have to say what a brilliant idea, especially for the type of dvd i was viewing :)

which was it? we've had a DVD player for about 6 years, have never seen one with it . . .

yeah, he seems to have enjoyed it more than he should have if it were a normal movie :p

I saw a few movies that use the alternate angle to look at the people giving commentary.
One movie showed behind-the-camera stuff.
A few have used it for storyboard comparisons.

foreign movies use it sometimes to cover up the foriegn language, and substitute it for english. neat idea so it can be viewed in the original, or in the edited version.

The only one I've seen so far that used it was Grave of the Fireflies.
But the smiley says that's not it...
