Yep, good software. Been using it myself for a few months now.

Only complaint is some podcasts show up corrupt for some reason, but overall, works amazingly well.

Now just to clear things up a bit;

MediaLink - Is for OSX/PS3 Integration
Connect360 - Is for OSX/360 Integration

Umm. How does this work?

Is there an app that gets installed on my PS3 or do I need to visit some URL in the PS3 browser?

I have been using TVersity and the PS3 interface to it sucks. I wish there was a better way to stream music.

Also, will this let me actually control iTunes on my Mac from my PS3?

Well, this is kinda different, considerably more integrated with a mac. Media Link actually just connects right up to your iTunes, iPhoto, Aperture libraries and allows you to navigate through them with the same structure. Its not actually controlling your Mac, its just giving you a direct link to the libraries.

Once you have Media Link installed, you just go to Music/Photo/Movies tab on your PS3 and select the Media Link share, and all your files are available to browse and play right through the XMB. Even video podcasts work great, and all the album artwork works as well.

It just rocks, well worth $20.
