For test purposes, install XP Home on multiple machines?

Quick question--- I have one legally purchased (to keep the pirate hunters away) copy of Windows XP Home version. Will I be able to install the same copy of XP on different machines all running file sharing among each other (for test purposes only, of course)? I want to determine whether I like it that much better than Win98SE to upgrade all 3 machines.

Thanks
JamesM

You can install all three, though you won't be able to activate more than one. For test purposes, that should be no problem - you'll just have to ignore the messages bugging you to activate. I recall seeing a method to disable the messages (though not disabling the eventual need to activate) so as not to interfere with benchmarks. No idea where it was though...

This activate procedure of which you speak... does it disable the PC until you activate it? How long until you're absolutely required to activate it?
