That's kind of neat, but I have a question for anyone that has used that unofficial service-pack compilation - have you sucessfully used it with USB floppy drives? The reason that I ask is, there were a couple of "official" win98se hotfixes, that actually BROKE USB floppy support. The solution was to back-rev a few of the files by extracting them from the original OS installation CD.
It had something to do with DirectX and firewire capture devices, but it broke proper "SBP2" support, whatever that is, for supporting USB mass-storage devices like floppies.
Interestingly enough, also, the W2K .INF files for USB floppy support, include Win98se installation sections. Yet those same .INFs aren't bundled with Win98se out-of-the-box. So if you copy those, and a couple of associated USB .SYS files, from a W2K box to a Win98se, and have NOT installed that DX update, USB floppy support works. Otherwise, it doesn't, in my experience.
