You can watch it for free through GOM player.

How the hell am I suppose to get to the stream? I have GOM Player running:confused:

If you're using the Korean version, press F9.

Click on the lower right hand bottom link.

Then you should see a banner in Korean with two heads and the word "MSL". Click on that.

Next it will bring you more banners, click on the right-bottom one with a time stamp of 17:00.

Then click on one of the orange buttons on the upper right hand corner and hope your connection keeps in-sync.

Also, there're two bandwidth options. If it lags, try changing bandwidth options.
You can change them by clicking light orange, darker orange buttons on top/right side of the screen.

I'm not sure if the english version of GOM player offers those channels.
(It's the icon "Gom TV" at the bottom right of the screen. F9 is the shortcut for it)
If it doesn't, let me know about it.

whew, starcraft gets my nerves goin' - asia server here we come...

anyway, thanks for the news. honestly. I gotta say that youtube.com is also your second option if your don't get the time for live video.

all I gotta say is that the maps do not download automatically in the meet room before you start a game... which pisses me off. I'm like, Blizzard, once a great company.

starcraft 2 looks like a rip off of warcraft 3 by the way.

oh yeah, starcraft is the only game I play now. 1996-97 programming at it's best, and into the millenium... with terrible patches.

-good luck, players!

You know, I always wondered why they got such elaborate stages to play the games on, but most of the time they play on small little CRT monitors with really crappy looking keyboards.

Monitors: As you know, playing SC on LCD or widescreen LCD just doesn't work well.
When it comes to CRT monitors, 21" is too big and anything below 17" is too small, so they eneded up playing on 19" CRTs.

Keyboard: Most of progamers use this generic Samsung Keyboard that has been around at least more than 10 years. I also use that keyboard just because it's a damn well made keyboard for every use.

That only explains you don't know what's going on in SC league.

Well it was just a joke, but then again a whole league being built around a 10 year old game and being taken this seriously is kind of funny on its own I guess.

I understand that, but those monitors aren't even brand new. It literally looks like as if they just took something out of someone's closet and plopped it down for a "world class" competition. One of them is gray tone, and the other is black with smoke two tone, it just kinda makes me laugh a bit considering everything else is so nice and fancy.

I find professional bowling and pool in the same league as professional Starcraft. It's just fun to watch a relatively seclusive hobby put on TV and made serious.

Hay Deadtrees, since I don't understand a lick of Korean, are you also getting a live feed of a band right now playing music on the Starcraft channel? Or am I on the wrong station?

If you're talking about this lady singing and playing piano, you're on the right spot. She's just doing an opening.

I'm in Canada using 1.5 mbps ADSL and it doen't lag at all although I'm watching the high bandwidth one(The one that says BETA on orange button.)

EDIT: It seems that the normal bandwidth streaming server is being hammered. Try the high bandwidth one(it's the darker orage button that says BETA on top/right screen), it seems to work better.

Thanks Deadtrees, but no go so far. I keep getting this clip of this guy trying to get a dog to bite him.
