From Fatwallet:

"From their site.

Revelations was started with a hope and desire to create a low-budget independent film with a big-budget production value. With affordable technology and a pool of talented artists around the world, we wanted to see how far Panic Struck Productions could take it. Everyone involved in the film is a volunteer and no one was paid to work or be involved in this project. The film is a combined effort to artists, industry professionals, and fans, all working together in a dedicated effort to produce a high-end film.
...
?Revelations? takes place between Episodes 3 and 4 of the Star Wars Saga. Emperor Palpatine's power has spread throughout the galaxy. Darth Vader is a feared figure. The Jedi are hunted fugitives. Anyone suspected of harboring Jedi or having any information about them is taken into Imperial custody.

You can download the full DVD version using bittorrent here.

I watched the movie last night. It's not nearly as good as a Hollywood production, but it's pretty good considering the resources they had to make it."

I orignally posted in Hot Deals, but apperantly that would be the wrong froum, anyway, it's 45minutes and pretty well made. Enjoy!

edit: forogt to mention, it's much better thna SOME hollywood productions(Episode I and II anyone?)

edit 2: forgot to say, there are no spoliers for Episode III so you're safe to watch this.

Thanks!

Started the torrent...total speed 129 kB/sec and 0.999 copies seen. The FTP link works much better.

Well I downlaoded and I am watching the quicktime version.

With the acting, and special effects I keep expecting for there to be some hard core screwing.

I know money may be no object or concern for George Lucas but he is so insistant to not make anymore "Big Screen" Star Wars films. One way to possibly change his mind is:
Most of the actors worked for free untill the movie was released (then recieve royalties, etc. thereafter)

It's a thought **LOL**

The acting is bad, but that is to be expected. I just can't get over how everybody is a huge geek.

There are a ton of these STar Wars fan films, nobody is getting sued over them.

Go here:

Personally, I thought this one was horrible. But there are a few on there worth watching (Art of the Saber has some nice lightsabering, as does Duality)

yeah. There were 10 seeds a few minutes ago, now there are 55. And I'm getting the highest DL rate I've ever gotten with bittorrent: 380kbps.

I'm only uploading 3kbps though. Any way to raise that easily?

Worse acting than the actual films, if that was at all possible. Looks like they could only cast fat nerds too.
