The only solution is to restart but the problem happens again within the hour. Its connected via wifi to my cable internet through my linksys router and its the only computer that does this. It never loses connection to the wifi but internet stops working. My other computer connected wirelessly never has this issue. Anyone have any ideas? The computer is a macbook air running windows 7.

This problem doesnt happen when I'm connected to my phone via wifi tether.

Assuming that it is Not an issue of low noisy signal.

Disable the Power Saving of the Wireless card (uncheck the box).

And take it out of the Sleep Loop.

Unchecked the box, thanks for the tip. Maybe that'll work. Network is very strong and always 4 or 5 bars. Its just the data stops flowing.

Unchecked the box but the same problem seemed to happen to me tonight just now. Any suggestions?

What is the sleep loop?

i have this lenovo laptop it installs its own power saver driver that changes the settings. results = poopoo whenever going to low power mode (aka battery). haven't figured it out. guess i'll try to get rid of that "thinkvantage" driver.
