For reference, it is snowing in Northern Virginia.

Anyone know what the local weatherpeople are predicting for this weekend? I prefer to hear it from a person rather than reading weather.com or something.

www.footsforecast.org

They are predicting 2.0 inches of liquid precipitation for Baltimore, 1.5-2.5 inches in the surrounding DC/Baltimore/Philly region. Multiply that number by 12-16 to get inches of snow if it gets below freezing.

Still to early to be 100% or even close yet. The storm has not even formed yet. So could be worse or just sleet with a little snow that does not stick.

Global warming at it again I suppose. The predictions set by Day After Tomorrow are slowly coming true.

Hasn't formed? Take a look at a national radar. It's currently in Texas and it's FREAKING HUGE.

BUMP!
Read the dates, newbs!

Now, it is raining. Was a light misty drizzle all day, now theres some real rain. Will probably clean up the last of the snow. Also, I got my truck painted. Will show pics of it in the rain tomorrow.

You knew it was going to rain eventually. Rain is not worthy of a bump! This thread should die until next winter.

OK, now its really warm and raining like a kid with a full bladder.
Thunder and lightning cut out the power for a split second.
I like the rain, but the thunder keeps me from sleeping.

Hey guys, we have weather where I am too!

I love the rain. The only depressing part is when I have to drive in the shitty traffic that inevitably entails.

Yeah for some strange reason people pick that time to deliberately drive worse. I dunno what part of their brain is doing that, but it makes me nuts.

Now its pitch black at 6:30.
Fucking daylight savings bullshit! This is gonna waste my whole day.

Also, fucking CLOUDS!!

It snowed briefly in the Ashburn area on Friday morning. Enough to lay a coating on the roads but that was it. I hope that isn't the end of it! Bring on snowmageddon!

It is mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s. Humidity 50% expected to drop into the 20s as the sun gets going. Probably go hiking today. Great shorts weather.
