I preferred Minnesota. They took proper care of roads all year round and were also able to deal with emergencies. And the cold wasnt so bad if you grew up in it or had a couple years to get used to it.

Say again? Haha. There isn't a clear road to be seen as of today. Tomorrow... maybe....

That said, I love my Blizzaks!

We got pounded with 8" of snow yesterday and the roads were terrible because it came down so fast right at rush hour. I had an appointment at 6 PM I had to make. Took my wife's Jeep with the new Blizzaks, put it in 4wd and never slid an inch, went up snowy hills just like it was dry asphalt. Passed dozens of abandoned cars left on the side of the road.

I was pretty stunned at how well I was moving along compared to other vehicles. Those tires are monstrously good. Amazing.

driving home in the rain tonight reminded me of the rush hour snowfall we had last winter. everyone was moving 10-15 mph and you couldn't see shit.

Obama being in the area had a lot of roads blocked off. Trains not moving. They were busing people all around town instead. Am sure that caused some shit.

It had more to do with the 7 inches of rain in 3 hours that parts of NoVa received yesterday afternoon/evening.

Been coming down for about 3 hours now. Not laying down, but I'm still happy. :)

What about that town SE of Anchorage.

Guard had to be called out to help clear the town.
Officially 4 ft at the local airport
