I want to configure this sorry excuse for a router so that when someone from the outside world tries to ping me, they will get no response. I don't know if the firewall would do this, but if the firewall is enabled i can't use torrent. It would be so much easier if verizon just gave me a dsl modem and a separate router...

anyway help please!

I have the Westell wireless dsl modem/router. You can turn that into a bridge if you already have a router to use.
