For Paul Oakenfold Fans

Anyone? I'm new to his music/mixes and wonder if anyone out there can recommend a couple of his cd's. He has several and I'm not sure which one(s) to buy?

Several CD's? He own's Perfecto label I think, so he has craploads of CDs out. I'm not really sure which ones to recommend. His earlier stuff if better IMO. He seems to have gone more main-stream lately.

I think Oakey is a teriffic DJ, but there are a lot of others out there too. My favorite Oakenfold mix though is his two CD-set "Perfecto Presents Another World". Also, check out "Global Underground: New York". Both are excellent, IMHO.

i think perfecto presents is one of oakenfold's most worthless cd's

tranceport is an excellent cd, easily a classic, belongs in any true trance lover's collection

voyage into trance is also a very good cd


however, there are much better dj's out there that don't nearly have an ego as large as oakenfold's

Just hop on your favorite music sharing software and look him up! Live stuff from Havana, Cream Fields, Oslo, etc is damn AWESOME!

Get on a file sharing system and look for these live mixes (from BBC 1 radio in the UK)

Homelands
Liverpool
Ibiza
China
Buenos Aires
Gatecrasher

His CD's are good, but his live mixes are great. Be careful though, some of them are 2 hour mixes and the mp3s are over 100 megs in size. But well worth it.

I like Tranceport by Oakenfold.

Otherwise my favorite right now is DJ Tiësto i like his stuff.
