For once, TI improved their calculators.

This is the 83+ replacement. They really improved the programing for most things. ie : It doesn't have to redraw every graph when you change one. I don't know if they willl bring the improved programing to the other calculators like the 89.

cool! i remember how into my TI-86 i used to be!

ooo, 1.5 MB of flash memory built in!! ;)

i havent used my 83+ for anything other then simple addition/subtrachion...in 2 years

hopefully never again will it be used for hard math,

haha same here. i always got good grades in math, but i really hated it.

does this mean TI bump up the processing speed too? coz graphing anything beyond a simple derivative can take ages....

but of course, how often are you gonna graph anything like that.
