is there anything out there comparable to Newsleechers "Super Search" feature?

I was using Newsbin for awhile but I've found Newsleecher to be alot better and easier to search with.

Just checking before I spend the $30 on newsleecher.

do you have to register grabit like you do newsleecher? I prefer not to pay if I don't have to. $30 is kinda pricy just for a newsreader app.

No other reader that i know of has a search mechanism as good as Newsleecher's SS feature. But if you're looking for that type of integrated search/download functionality, might i suggest as an alternative going with Easynews, which allows you to download anything off the newsgroups from their website.

grabit is free, but for searches you get a certain amount of free search just like newsleacher. you have to register for more than the amount of search allowed per day.

Easynews's global search is amazing.

You can now get Newsleecher and Super Search for free.

Newzbin is a better search tool than Super Search though and no one can proof otherwise. Newzbin is a lot quicker than newsleecher Super Search will ever be.
