For my new C2D: Use old Zalman 7000b with adapter or new moderate HSF?

I just got my E4400 that I will be overclocking, but noticed that my http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=141"]Zalman 7000B-cu [/URL] doesn't fit on the new socket. I can buy an adapter to make it fit (supposedly) for around $10 shipped.

Or I've been doing some reading, and I could buy a new decent HSF for around $35. I'm currently looking at the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 or the Scythe Ninja Plus Rev B. I am more interested in the Ninja at the moment because I need a quiet system, and the Ninja uses a 120mm fan.

Should I stick with the old or get the newly designed one? Will there be a significant temperature change? I would personally like the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme or Tuniq Tower, but they're a bit too expensive for my budget system.

Thanks

I would go with the Freezer 7 Pro or the Ninja. I haven't used either, but I've heard excellent things about both.

The Freezer 7 may (or may not) be louder, but the Ninja is definately bigger. Buy whichever one suits you best.

The Zalman 7000 will do fine on a lower power chip like the E4400, I've put a few new Zalman 7xxxs on Core2 CPUs, they're still great HS/Fs for low noise cooling.
