For money would you do one of the following?

1. Post spam in the hot deals forum about free ipods and such.
2. Go through ISP logs given to you by the RIAA and MPAA and flag people to be sued.

Or none of the above?

You couldn't offer me any sum of money to do 1, I'd work at McDs or be a homeless bum first.

I'd consider 2, because:

With Netflix and Blockbuster, you can legally rent DVDs while supporting the people that made the movies.

With Napster and Rhapsody $10/month plans you can legally preview full CDs before buying and listen to them as much as you like on your PC, so it's no longer true that you need to buy a CD after only hearing one song.

With Napster's new $15/month plan you can even rent thousands of CDs for your portable player (limited players right now though).

With Napster, Rhapsody, iTunes you can now buy single songs for the CDs with one good song, even though the sound quality won't match a real CD yet.

So the main arguments for stealing music these days are that the record companies hurt you in the past, or you're a cheap bastard that likes to steal from musicians.
