After reading a recent Koolance review on one of the newer cases which detailed a similar exercise, I decided to switch the one outtake fan around so that it blew directly on the radiator instead.

After a half hour or so of work (you have to disconnect the radiator and fan mount from the top, easier when you clear out your 5.25" drive slots) , I noticed idle and load temps on my proc dropped ~3C. Keep in mind I have two outtake fans on the back of the case to keep air flowing. I'd recommend trying it, though YMMV.

That's correct. It seems to be more efficient to run the cooler air over the radiator than try to lift the hot air off of it. Of course, the hot air has to go someplace, so it may warm those components not in the liquid cooling loop.

Yeah, it's relatively easy to take everything out and put everything back in, even the duct. It just takes a little bit of time.

Side note: I recommend getting some canned air, due to the amount of dust that collects on the radiator. That also may have helped temps a bit.
