I normally wouldn't bother but this little troll PM'd me with lies and then blocked my response. What a silly little child.
What I said was 4x4 is not possible above 1024x768 on the G7x or earlier and likewise 2x2 was not possible above 2048x1536 on said chipset.
I also said according to nHancer 16xS wouldn't work above 1280x1024 but that turned out to be false when I myself was saying I can get 16xS working as high as 1920x1440.
In fact if I recall correctly you were trying to tell me 16xS wouldn't work above 1600x1200.
You are now on my block list - I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.
Yes because it's correct.I remember in the past you insisting that xS mode have limits attached in regard to the resolutions they can use
Utter rubbish. Put up a direct quote or retract that lie.(you insisted past 1024x768 wasn't possible for SSAA and past 1280x1024 wasn't possible for xS).

Did you read it? I don't think you did because it backs my claims:I tolf you then that you were wrong and you wouldn't believe me -- now read this post by chrisray
Different GPUS with different amount of memory can go higher resolutions. Grestorm also mentioned that this limitation was inherant to 256 cards. 512/768 meg cards have different limitations for how high the XS modes can go.
