I got it and had this strange problem. Every time I let the computer stand by and then woke it up, the Santa Cruz card didn't work properly. CD music was fine, but no MP3, no Game music, etc. I had the BIOS set to STR( suspend to Ram) mode, because this mode can keep my Athlon system quiet. I am wondering is this STR mode a reason?

By the way, the mother board is a Epox 8k7a

Could anybody having a Santa Cruz card with or without this problem check your BIOS setup to help me out? Thanks a loooooot!

what os???

r u using the latest drivers available from www.turtlebeach.com?

i've never had any probs with my Santa Cruz, unlike my SBLive!, try disabling STR function. it's a guess, but i bet that is what is messing it up cuz I dont think many ppl use that function since many ppl like to leave their computers on 24/7 so it can either crack RC5 or do SETI while they are away. :D

I am using Win98 Second Edition. If I turn the STR mode to be PO... anyway another mode. It's OK, but under that mode, the machine is at the same noise level and too noise for me.

As for the driver, I am not sure..... but when I run the sound check software update of the Santa Cruz, it told me it's latest.
