this problem has been bothering us lately. everytime our AC unit is running, theres a noticeable change in our lighting. some parts of our house, the light becomes brighter and some room(s), it becomes dim. what causes it?
do i need to change our circuit breaker amperage? is there an overload? pls. somebody explain this to me to understand it fully and what is/are the solution(s). TIA!!!

It's most likely because the AC unit draws so much current. When my washing machine is running, the lights in the dining room get brighter and dimmer in sync with the motor. You could have the unit checked to make sure it's okay, but if you're not popping any breakers, it's probably alright. The only solution I can think of is to get a higher amp service or put in a dedicated breaker for the unit, but it probably already has one.

Edit: I'm not an EE or an electrician, but at least in the ballpark (physics).
