For ebay: is there a way to block bidders on your item unless they have like 10 positive feedback?

casue them stupid nigerians keep on shill bidding on my items, with their 0 feedback new screen names.

they'd simply buy 10 one cent items from a second account, and bid anyway.

Just make your auction buy-it-now, requiring instant payment via Paypal-- it keeps the spammers, shillers, and tire-kickers away...

Whats the point of a scammer shill bidding on your listings?

They basically ignore your shipping and payment requirements and try to get you to ship your item urgently to their "daughter" or some such in some foreign nation.

You can be sure you'll never get your money from them.

Even if you refuse to close the deal with them, you have to go through the whole process of getting your listing and final value fees refunded by eBay.

There's a special place in hell reserved for those motherfvckers. :|

I'm sorry for the strong language but I gave up trying to sell my eMachine m6805 on eBay because that sh*t happened 3 gorram times.

Oh, so they shill bid to get the seller excited about the high price and then try to con them into shipping first? That sucks, but how do all the power sellers on ebay deal with it?
