Haha. Dell De-crapifier. I think that the poor quality of Dells exceed just the loads of software that they include in their systems.

They do put loads of crap on them, but less than Compaq and some others I have seen. And having purchased about a hundred Dells for business use I don't agree at all that they are low quality. Dell builds a solid machine for general use, and even a pretty decent machine for the enthusiast that doesn't mess with gear. In their space I would say they are close to the best of breed.
