First of all...that’s a crawler (tracks) crane. Generally, those don’t have outriggers...

Next, I can’t tell from the video if he just swung to the side too soon, (reduced capacity compared to the front) or if the load got caught on one of the grout nails sticking out of the wall and he just tried to muscle through it.

Scrolling down, (I’m on an iPad) I see that someone else mentioned that it had got hung up on the grout nails...or rebar.

Shows how close I pay attention. Could have sworn I'd seen track cranes with outriggers, but an image search only had a few unusual examples I wouldn't have run into. They're usually just something I have to work around. "Fuck! Crane's in my way again!" :^D

Its weird how many videos I can find just like that one. This seems to happen a lot.
