For BF1942 Experts out there: Unable to Request Artillery Targets??

Of course the 'Manual' for BF1942 doesn't tell me how to do this at all, and its REALLY frustrating!!

So I'll be playing online as Artillery and will try to call out for a target to scouts. But none of my 'F-Key's work, at least in the game I think. I have a Microsoft Multimedia keyboard with the ubiquitous F Lock.

When I'm in game, the only F key that works is F2. How do I call out for targets??

Am I just TOO much of a n00b?

In the game Options screen, there is no option to call for Targets if your artillery. Please let me know how.

ugh, turn on the flock? i too have the ms multimedia natural kb. works just fine

F2 calls the "request" menu
then
F6 calls "Artillery Ready For Target"
