For basic home use, is this enough security? (For Wireless Network)

That should be ok. If you wanted an extra level of security, you can enable WEP.

Don't bother with WEP, it's pretty much useless if your neighbours are tech savy enough to moniter what your transfering.
FYI you can hunt it down but there was a thread on this forum I believe about how WEP can be cracked it around 3-5 minutes? I tried a tool(can't remember name) and it cracked my WEP encryption in 34minutes. ...
If you want to encypt the data stream from prying eyes add on WPA encyption.
If you just want to keep accidental neighbours off of your network, what you have done will be fine.

I suppose it boils down to "How smart are your neighbors?"

Might as well put copper mesh on the walls and black paper over the windows to be 1% more secure. I always look at this way, locks on doors can be defeated, windows can be smashed to get into your car, and nothing is 100% or even 90% secure. WEP is good for the common user. It?s a rare chance that someone will hack into your WEP connection. Chances are if you live in an average area, someone is running a wide open router and the signal stealers are hitting them. I can't detect any here (thanks to that 70's style aluminum insulation); however I can detect 3 WIDE OPEN wireless networks at my g/f's house, all accessible. I always preferred wired CAT5 anyways. WEP connections only can be cracked if someone knows the tools to do it and you use it very heavily, we're talking 1-3% of the population here. I always shut mine off when I'm not using it, takes less than 30 seconds from anywhere on the network.
