For "Band of Brothers" Fans

I haven't clicked the link yet, but this was one of the most moving war movie/series I have seen. Now if they could just do something like this for Korea...

Haven't you ever seen M*A*S*H? It's like the same thing!

I just started my 7th time through the dvd set this past weekend. I swear it gets better every time. "How do you expect to slay Huns with DUST on your JUMP WINGS!!"

Just finally bought myself a copy of it. Can't wait for the Pacific Theater one. It would be great if there was one done about the Korean War. Would be pretty interesting to kinda see what my dad went through over there.

I'm watching it for my first time 😀

On my forth episode right now.

Anyone else have a hard time trying to keep all the names with the faces? There's just too many of them.

I loved the show too... I watched it in about 3 days. A week later, I watched it again with my girlfriend.

I loaned it to my dad and he watched all 10 hours of it in one day.

Edit.
I had a hard time with keeping all the characters straight too. It isn't easy since they look different in when they are wearing helmets and if they are scruffy looking.

Yah I had a hard time the first time through. By the time I knew who was who they were already dead 🙁

Yeah, at first it's a little tough. Your third or fourth time through and you get a better understanding of it all. The series just gets better and better the more you watch it. I'm always making a new connection or picking up something new.

episode 1 was the best! david schwimmer did an awesome job portraying the tough-acting but really a pussy Captain. Why does he pick only roles that end up making him look like a big pusseh... (Ross in Friends, etc). lol

By the end, everyone is dead.

The above message was a spoiler. Don't read it if you haven't seen the shows.

Just kidding.

Pipboy didn't give anything away.

*shakes out box* nope, I dont' think so! I just watched "Crossroads", my 2nd favorite ep. "We're paratroopers, lieutenant. We're supposed to be surrounded."

Blockbuster had the set in the previewed DVDs section for $9.99 each last December so I jumped on it immediately. I am not sure what it's selling for now but this is when it was around $85.00 new. I find the WWII era fascinating.

DAMMIT YOU GUYS...now I have to watch the series again. All this talk and I'm like trying to remember each episode. Thank god I have the whole set...best damn DVD I ever bought, that and Glory Special Edition.
