If you live in Colorado and want to shoot machine guns, full auto pistols, cannons...etc come out to the dragon man's annual machine gun shoot Sept. 11-12th in Colorado Springs. I went last year for the 1st time, it was fun as hell. $8 entrance fee to just watch, around $15-$30 to shoot a machine gun depending on how many rounds you want. $5 to shoot a .50 cal. Those prices are what I remembered from last year, so this year they should be similar. I spent around $100 or so shooting guns last year, it was totally worth it.

If you have always wanted to shoot the guns of Counterstrike/Modern Warfare/etc. then come out, it was awesome last year. BTW, there are tons of more youtube vids, just search dragonman machine guns or whatever.

I totally want to do this... but the Springs are pretty far away for me. Might not be doable.

from the website:

"We will be renting out 200 machine guns to the public."
"WE DO NOT RENT OUT GUNS ON OUR RANGE. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN."

so which is it?

The top part is the special info for the event. The bottom part is the standard rules of the range

I'll probably go with a couple of coworkers. Don't really like outdoor ranges, prefer whistling pines (east on 24 near marksheffel) but I don't go enough to justify the monthly fees.

For those coming from Denver, dragonmans is way out east near peyton, so it's not that convenient. Its 25 down to maybe briargate pkwy, south on powers, then east on 24.

^That

It's just like what the youtube videos show that I linked, you show up to the range, pay $8 to access it, and there are a bunch of vendors/dealers with machine guns and all kinds of weapons there that you can pay to shoot.

If you want to go, just use google maps to find the best way to get there from where u live, the address and phone number are on the dragon man website.

It looks like I'm getting a bunch of buddies and heading this way tomorrow. I'll try and take some pics and vids if I remember.

Went today, and it was pretty fuckin awesome. Spent ~$100 and could easily have spent much more. Ended up shooting an m240 bravo, F2000, Barrett 50 cal, and P90. They demoed their flamethrowers as well which was sweet.
