For around 300 dollars, which BOOKSHELF speakers would you buy?

I just want a stereo system for music--i don't care much for surround sound. Anyways, right now i'm eyeing Paradigms, Axioms, and Mirage speakers. At first i just wanted to buy the Paradigm Titans, but i found out about the other companies. What would you choose for around 300 dollars? I'll hopefully be pairing this up with a high-end 1970-80's Marantz receiver.

And from what i know, Paradigms and Mirage are Canadian companies, so it'll be hard-pressed to find a store to audition both or all three companies.

Axiom M3ti

Do a little searching around and you'll find these to be very very well regarded for that pricepoint...or the M22ti's if you want to go a little more up.

I'd suggest the Paradigms, as I own their towers..you shoudl be able to get better than Titans for that price range.

So far these two speakers have a 5/5 rating on Audioreview:

Paradigm MKIII
Mirage frx-three

...with the Axiom M3 Ti's coming up behind them.

I just found out the m22ti's aren't a viable option. I didn't know they were that large!
