Ok, i got this DLP shipped and it wont work, something inside shattered. Am going to try to send it back obviously...

But im curious, what could it be? Its not the lamp, I inspected that. The shattered pieces are light like plastic, and have a mirror like reflection.. But I thought the mirrors in DLPs were very very small?

Some of it is actually ground down into pixie dust..

The dust and shattered shards are falling out from just under the screen...

Anyone know? Just curious...
 
Yeah I didnt take anything apart, just wondering if anyone has knowledge of what it could be. Can't find anything online...
